Chandra Fisher is a Writer based in Alberta, Canada.

Chandra started writing as a tween, mostly in journals and (sometimes horrible) poetry. She was first published in a magazine at age 17 with a poem called How Nature Speaks (this one was actually pretty good).

Since then, she has participated in the Pitchwars international mentorship program - twice! - and won two Canada Council for the Arts grants. She has been shortlisted for the Times/Chicken House publishing contest, and she is a finalist for the prestigious Prix Aurora Award for Best Short Story.

Her short works can be found in anthologies from Prairie Soul Press (2022) and Tyche Books (2023)
